Solar Sculptures
We will be doing hands-on energy experiments making magic with sun and wind. Our projects will awaken the desire to learn about energy issues with fun and exciting experiments. We will make electricity from sunlight to power sculptures and "art machines" that will move from the power of the sun. We will design and build wind objects by identifying and incorporating the natural surroundings; leaves, pods, feathers etc. Students will be learning about the simple technologies and practices that can help solve our energy problems by learning about renewable energy and energy conservation.
