Martin Zet is a well-known contemporary Czech artist whose work includes sculpture, performance, poetry, sea drawings, publishing, video and photographs.

Zet's work, performed and exhibited all over the world, has been described as highly personal and filled with wry humor and Zet himself as possessor of a finely-tuned sense of the absurd.  He was born in 1959 and attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague from 1979-1985. He lives and works in Libušín, Czech Republic.

...for this thou wast taken: for dust thou art and art is dust. (The Book of Sighs) August 2, 2003 in Libušín
